Fall Intern: Executive Office (Arthur Brooks)
Arthur Brooks is AEI’s president and a prominent public intellectual. A best-selling author and New York Times columnist, he writes and speaks regularly on American culture, social science, and free enterprise. Interns report to the director of Dr. Brooks’s office and work closely with his team across a variety of creative projects, scholarly research, and logistics.
Key focus areas for this internship include: Research in support of journal articles and books; fact-finding assistance for op-eds and speeches; help with digital content such as newsletters and social media; and logistical support that includes compiling regular briefings.
This internship offers a unique opportunity. The ideal candidate will be highly organized and responsible, and comfortable working in a high-paced and discreet executive office setting. Strong research chops and excellent writing skills are strongly preferred.
