  • Develops processes and procedural tools such as templates, in accordance with CMMI best practices.
  • Evaluates how well the organization (customer as well as program team) is adhering to established processes.
  • Tracks and reports on data supporting Service Level Agreements.
  • Identifies and establishes metrics to report on program and project health.
  • Supports Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs.
  • Develops and applies quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Develops and conducts related evaluations.
  • Participates in assessments.
  • Develops and implements standardized processes and procedures within a software development environment.
  • Participates in establishing quality standards for life cycle, documentation, development methods, testing, and maintenance.
  • Performs quality assurance evaluations to determine level of compliance with processes and procedures.
  • Reviews and evaluates program and project work products and systems to ensure adherence to company and customer quality standards.
  • Collects, analyzes, and reports on data to determine program compliance with Service Level Agreements. Identifies and investigates anomalies.
  • Documents and analyzes results of evaluations, and makes recommendations to improve overall quality.
  • Develops and applies quality standards in accordance with company and customer requirements.
  • Designs and implements methods and procedures for testing and inspecting the quality level of work products.
  • Recommends corrective action for procedural, product, or process deficiencies.
  • Interfaces with customers and team members to resolve quality problems and provide information.
  • Participates in assessments and appraisals.
  • Assists with project planning activities associated with CMMI appraisal planning projects.
  • Provides quality-related training.
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
  • Participates in special projects as required.

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.



  • 2-5 years of related quality assurance experience.
  • Ability to pass a Public Trust 5 Level clearance is required.
  • Understanding of the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) and ISO 9001 requirements.
  • Knowledge of and experience with implementing CMMI best practices in a software development environment.
  • Experience serving on a CMMI appraisal team at Level 3 or higher is desired.
  • Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in quality assurance and software engineering.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills.
  • Ability to review, test and evaluate the work of others.
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, analytical; able to explore through root cause analysis and determine corrective action and remediation.
  • Ability to communicate well with technical and business personnel.
  • Experience in creating and managing online dashboard reporting.
  • Proficiency with Excel PowerPivot and pivot tables.
  • Experience establishing processes in an agile software environment is desired.
  • Understanding of ISO 9000 requirements is desired.
  • Knowledge of Electronic Health Record systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Team Foundation Services/Visual Studio Team Services is a plus.
