76% or greater - You may be required to travel to a disaster site during increased disaster activity for extended periods with little or no advance notice. If so you may encounter hazardous working and/or living conditions; i.e., no water or electricity and/or minimal lodging facilities. Travel expenses and per diem will be paid based on SBA policy and Federal regulations.

Mandatory Overtime is Required: In order to respond quickly and efficiently to disaster victims, substantial compensated hours up to seven days a week and twelve to fourteen hours a day may be required.Qualifying experience includes:
Working for a construction company building or repairing homes, businesses, or other building structures, performing duties such as framing walls/drywall, rewiring houses, laying flooring, etc.;
Estimating quantity of materials and costs for constructing or repairing homes and/or businesses. This type of experience could be gained in the real estate, insurance, or construction industry; or
Other experience that demonstrates the applicant possesses the knowledge, skill and ability to perform the duties of this position.
Education may be used as a substitute for experience. Education and work experience may also be combined to qualify.
Qualifying education includes: One year of graduate education for GS 7, a Master's degree for GS-9, or Ph.D. for GS-11 (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university in a related field.
