Hillwood is seeking a Head of Maintenance and Facilities due to a recently announced retirement. This is a terrific opportunity for someone ready to step-up and “run their own show” or someone looking to apply their talents in a one of a kind environment. In this highly visible role, you will oversee all facilities maintenance operations and initiatives leading an in-house maintenance team supported by a cadre of top-notch specialty contractors. The scope of your activities will encompass facility repairs, custodial maintenance and logistical support, in addition to financial management of the operation and capital planning.
The successful candidate will have 8+ years of facilities maintenance experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory/management role. Must hold at least a high-school degree, with a Certified Facilities Maintenance designation. Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Construction Management is preferred. Work in a museum environment, historic property and/or a cultural institution is also a plus.
