THIS IS A CRITICAL ACQUISITION POSITION (CAP). Selectee for this position will be required to sign a written agreement to remain, for a minimum of three years, in the federal service in this
critical acquisition position. The incumbent must obtain a minimum of 80 continuous learning points (CLPs) for every 2 year CLP period, with a goal of at least 40 annually.
This position requires Acquisition Workforce Level III certification in Systems Planning, Research, Development and Engineering (SPRDE)- Science and Technology Manager or Information Technology Career Field. Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 24 months after entry into this position. Selectee or incumbent must be able to obtain the appropriate certification level for their position. The incumbent must meet requirements for membership in the DoD Acquisition Corps immediately upon assuming the position unless a position requirements waiver is approved.
Candidates must meet the physical and suitability standards both prior to and during employment in this position.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TOP Secret/SCI clearance.
Must consent to and pass pre-employment drug testing and be subject to periodic random testing thereafter.
Travel required CONUS and some travel OCONUS.

You must have one year Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private/military sector) giving the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Experience must be reflected in your resume.
Specialized experience required for this position is:
- Experience leading, managing, or overseeing complex and diverse Research Development Test & Evaluation efforts in complex data management and analytics or related fields.
- Experience establishing a new organization working on new technologies and/or achieving long-term vision and goals for a technology-based organization.
- Experience creating and gaining approval for new, innovative technology-centric programs designed to solve long-standing and difficult problems.
- Experience supervising technologists and program managers.
