Position Overview
Freddie Mac’s Investments and Capital Markets Division is seeking a Seasoned Loans Securitizations Analyst (Professional Level) to join the Loan Portfolio Managing and Structuring (LPMS) group. The candidate will support Senior PMs on securitizations of seasoned and legacy loans. The team is responsible for the management of Freddie Mac’s legacy and distressed assets in the company’s retained portfolio. Responsibilities Include:
* Work with the lead portfolio managers on securitization transactions for FRE
* Direct and coordinate with lead portfolio manager and legal team to finalize Offering Memorandums, transaction form agreements and bidder qualification documents
* Support transaction leads and traders on various aspects of the transaction, including data room management, trade documentation and settlements.
* Negotiate and facilitate execution of trade and settlement agreements with counterparties on structured transactions
* Work with major external counterparties including broker/dealers, investors and service providers to facilitate transactions
* Coordinate securitization due diligence and disclosures related items working with various stakeholders, within Freddie Mac and externally
* Support settlement of securitization and deal tie outs and reporting, including Intex, Bloomberg, etc.
* Support market surveillance activities

Basic Requirements
* Typically has at least 5 to 7 years of experience in securitizations of single-family performing loans
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, related degree or a quantitative field
* Good analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to think outside the box
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, team player and self-motivated
* Strong individual performer
* Good communication and people skills
* Ability to work in a fast pace trading desk environment and ability to deal with some degree of ambiguity

Preferred Skills
* Experience in the securitization of seasoned loans
* knowledge of Intex Preferred
* Excellent Excel and PowerPoint presentation skills
