Manager of the Park Asset Management Branch and responsible for being the agency's subject matter expert on asset management. Responsible for leading efforts to ensure robust implementation of an agency-wide facility and infrastructure asset management plan/program including: overall system data collection, verification, monitoring, and analysis required to successfully achieve agency's goals for lifecycle management of facility and infrastructure assets and total cost of ownership (TCO). Directs the development and implementation of asset management plans, including annual workplans, by facilitating multi-disciplinary teams in the implementation and use of Tririga asset management software applications. Ensures that data collection, analysis, reporting processes, techniques and methodologies as it pertains to infrastructure and asset management provide effective and well informed decision making and budgeting for agency assets through lifecycle planning for all park facilities and infrastructure. Develops policy and procedures related to asset management and life cycle asset planning. Establishes and maintains effective internal controls that ensure date data integrity is maintained. Will report to the director of planning and development with strong line of communication to the deputy director/chief of business development (CBD).

Employment Standards

Any combination of education, experience, and training equivalent to the following: graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a bachelor's degree in urban/regional planning, architecture, landscape architecture, engineering, or a related field, and six years of progressively responsible experience in or affiliated with land planning and/or redevelopment.

Appointee will be required to complete a criminal background investigation and a driving record check to the satisfaction of the employer.


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field;
  • At least 6 years of progressively responsible experience in or affiliated with asset system management, business administration, IT, data collection and analysis, public administration, or project and policy management within related fields;
  • Knowledge of data bases and software applications including Oracle, and Tririga;
  • Experience in leadership, collaboration and team work.
Position is generally sedentary in nature, but will require site visits to various park properties and buildings. Ability to traverse uneven terrain, and outdoor facilities. Ability to lift up to 10 pounds and carry equipment to sites. Duties can be performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
