JOB SUMMARY:

Any individual who was awarded a degree by an institution of higher education from a public or other non-profit institution not more than two years before the date of appointment meets the basic eligibility requirement to apply for the DHA Recent Graduates Program; OR

Any individual who has completed a period of obligated service in a uniformed service of more than four years and was awarded a degree by an institution of higher education from a public or other non-profit institution not more than four years before the date of appointment meets the basic eligibility requirement to apply for the DHA Recent Graduates Program.

YOUR TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT COVERS:

·          Orientation program

·          Mentorship throughout the Program

·          Individual Training & Development Plan to assist with career planning,

           professional development, and training activities

·          Formal, interactive training each year of the Program

·          Opportunity for career advancement  

AFTER PROGRAM COMPLETION:

You will be outplaced from the PAQ program after successful completion of your formal training program.  Outplacement may be to a position in the local community area where you received your PAQ training or to an Air Force Installation in another geographic location within the Continental USA.

Occasional travel - Travel to Keesler AFB, MS and San Antonio TX for training (approx. 30-120 days) will be required during the three year program

This position has an education requirement. You MUST provide transcripts to support your educational claims. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.  It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.

If qualified, we will then place you in one of the three categories described below:

 

A.  Best Qualified: Master's or a Bachelor's degree with overall GPA of 3.5 or higher


B.  Highly Qualified: Bachelor's degree with overall GPA between 2.95-3.49


C.  Qualified: Associate's degree AND one year (12 months) of specialized work experience in planning for and determining current and future supply requirements; or planning and determining the distribution and position of supplies among major supply stations, stock points, or using activities; or preparing recommendations and directives for the procurement of material, indicating the types of items, quantities, and sources; or analyzing planned or scheduled material requirements and forecasts to determine categories and quantities of items as well as funds required. This experience MUST be equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in Federal service, which could have been obtained in the private or public sectors.
