The A. James Clark School of Engineering of the University of Maryland, College Park is seeking a Director of Facilities Operations. This position serves as the designated engineering officer for all facilities and related operations at the A. James Clark School of Engineering, consisting of more than 15 buildings (the majority on or near University of Maryland, College Park campus; one in St. Mary’s County in southern Maryland). In addition to classrooms and instructional facilities, many of the school’s buildings house high-tech laboratory research facilities supporting a wide range of, and varied, research. This position will oversee long-range facility planning, design, and construction for new and existing facilities, renovations and renewals, and will proactively anticipate current and future capacity needs.

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, or related discipline, plus a minimum of 10 years of experience.
