This is an Acquisition, Technology and Logistics (AT&L) Workforce Critical Acquisition Position (CAP) in the Business-Financial Management career field. Selectee for this position will be required to sign a written agreement to remain, for a minimum of three years, in the federal service in this critical acquisition position. Selectee will be required to become certified at Level III in the applicable career field within 24 months, unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend beyond 24 months. Selectee must meet requirements for membership in the DoD Acquisition corps.
This position requires Financial Management Certification Level 3 in Business & Financial Management.
Certification prior to hiring is not essential but must be accomplished within 24 months after entry into this position unless a Position Requirements Waiver is approved to extend beyond 24 months.
Selectee or incumbent must be able to obtain the appropriate certification level for their position.
Candidates must meet the physical and suitability standards both prior to and during employment in this position.

You must have one year Specialized Experience equivalent to the GS-14 level in the Federal service (experience may have been gained in the private/military sector) giving the particular knowledge, skills and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position. Experience must be reflected in your resume.
Specialized experience required for this position is: managing services including planning, programming, budgeting, and financial management analysis; serves as the financial authority/expert controlling a wide variety of complex and sensitive financial management matters; present briefings to officials on technical and complex budget and financial management regulatory requirements.
