Program Descriptions Leading By Example LLC has offices located in Nottingham and Abingdon, Maryland. LBE provides Psychiatric Rehabilitation, Health Home, Therapeutic Behavioral Services, Intensive In-Home Services, Mobile Crisis Response Services, and Targeted Case Management to minor and adult clients in Baltimore City, Baltimore County, and Harford County. Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP) The Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program offers community based services that are designed to prepare clients to independently manage their mental, emotional, and physical health needs. PRP provides support services to assist clients with developing/restoring independent living skills, social skills, self-care skills, illness management, vocational/educational achievements, etc. Health Home (HH) Health Home Services are offered to all clients enrolled in the PRP Program. HH offers care coordination services to clients provided by our medical staff and clinical support staff. This program allows us to serve clients suffering from chronic medical, behavioral and substance abuse disorders using a "whole person" approach. Therapeutic Behavioral Services (TBS) Therapeutic Behavioral Services is an intensive, home based behavior modification service designed to eliminate destructive, unhealthy behaviors and to prevent out-of-home placement, psychiatric hospitalizations, and incarceration in juvenile detention centers. TBS is intended to strengthen families and teach caregivers effective parenting skills to provide structure that assists clients to achieve and maintain healthy functioning. Intensive In-Home Services (IIHS) Intensive In-Home Services are provided to minor clients who qualify for Level III Targeted Case Management/1915(i). Services are provided in conjunction with the CCO to implement the client's Plan of Care. The primary focus of the program is to divert youth from out of home placement and/or as a step down from a more restrictive setting. The program aims to stabilize clients and provide their caretakers with the necessary skills to maintain clients in the home setting. Mobile Crisis Response Services (MCRS) Mobile Crisis Response Services are provided to clients who receive Level III Targeted Case Management/1915(i). Licensed Clinicians and Direct Service Workers offer crisis support services via phone and face-to-face 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. Adult Mental Health Targeted Case Management (TCM) LBE is the Harford County provider of Adult Mental Health Targeted Case Management. The core components of TCM include, linkage to resources, including housing; linkage to entitlements/benefits; linkage to behavioral and somatic health care; assistance in developing social support systems and monitoring of engagement in services. Job Description Mental Health Clinician Leading By Example is currently looking to fill a Mental Health Clinician position for our Nottingham location. This is a full-time position. Qualified candidates will possess excellent verbal communication skills, proficient clinical knowledge/skills, and computer/electronic medical record understanding. Candidates should also be highly organized with exceptional time management skills, and ability to multi-task. This is a middle management position which provides an opportunity for continued growth in the mental health/social work fields and to provide clinical oversight in a supervisory role. Primary Function/Major Responsibilities: The Mental Health Clinician is responsible for the appropriate provision of community based therapeutic services and clinical supervision of all assigned direct care staff. Clinician oversees all therapeutic services and provides training for staff on how to provide services that address the goals identified in clients' treatment plans. The responsibilities of the Clinician include, but are not limited to: Assessment and treatment planning Supervising service delivery to ensure the effective implementation of treatment interventions and case management services Revision and continued development of policy and procedures Utilizing individualized treatment tracking outcomes when assessing service delivery, providing supervision, and developing treatment plans Facilitating group and individual supervision meetings with Direct Service Workers Attending management and Staff Meetings Facilitating in-service trainings focused on clinical documentation and clinical service delivery skills development Leading team meetings to develop treatment plans and ensure implementation of treatment services Brokering community resources and services to meet clients' needs Maintaining client files with appropriate medical, educational, and treatment records, and facilitate correspondence with inter-agency team members Compensation: The full-time Mental Health Clinician salary is $42,000-$45,000/year with benefits including medical, vision, and dental. Qualifications: Candidates must have a Master's Degree in a mental health field and have minimum licensure of LGSW or LGPC. A minimum of one year experience working with youth in a social, educational, or recreational setting is preferred; or certified competency in program based therapeutic models along with familiarity with theories, principles and practices related to child development.
