Vencore is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Responsibilities: Assumes the responsibility for the scheduling of technical projects. Involved in one project or numerous projects. Responsibilities include a wide range of duties involving initial job planning, scheduling of time, scheduling of materials, coordination of subcontractors, monitoring of job progress, analysis of changes, and problem solving. Develops plans including budgets and schedules to meet contractual/project requirements for several major portions of a program. Establishes and defines program plan requirements and directs or performs in-depth studies to determine optimum program plans. Coordinates interdepartmental development of program plans. Interfaces with vendors and customers and performs extensive investigations as required. Produces the contractor's Initial Schedule and then updates the schedule throughout the program. Uses the schedule to analyze the impact of change orders, delays, and any other schedule disruptions. Works very closely with the project manager and the subcontractors during the preparations and updating of the schedule. Produces critical scheduling information for the project team's use. Monitors performance reports against plans to ensure that contractual, cost and schedule objectives are met; arranges modifications as required. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Design and maintenance of an enterprise integrated master schedule to meet evolving customer needsBriefing of program/project schedule statusAnalysis of project schedules, including critical path analysisAd-hoc schedule management activities as need to support the teamWorking with project leads to plan and integrate schedules across the organizationCreation of PowerPoint presentationsOther duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications:Active TS/SCI with Polygraph10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhDBS in technical disciplineExpert in schedule planning tools, specifically PrimaveraDemonstrated experience developing project schedules in an IT project/program environmentAbility to work in a Government environment as part of a multi-contractor teamDemonstrated System Engineering or Systems Integration experienceStrong analytical skills and ability to develop and recommend solutions for problems/issuesStrong interpersonal skills and team orientationDemonstrated customer relationship and presentation skillsIntimate knowledge of Customer projects and systems
