This individual will write marketing copy for our event management platform technology across several different channels and work to generate and cultivate leads for our sales teams. This individual is an expert in all things related to content and channel optimization, brand consistency, segmentation and localization, analytics and meaningful measurement. Ultimately, the job of the Senior Associate, Content Marketing is to lead the development of content initiatives of all forms to drive new and current business. You will get the opportunity to exercise your short-form and long-form muscles by writing targeted email campaigns, website and landing page copy, blog posts, product fact sheets, white papers, and eBooks. You will be responsible for developing and targeting content personas, managing our content inventory, refreshing current content, collaborating with product marketers to plot content calendars-and of course-churning out fresh and compelling content. The Senior Associate, Content Marketing will communicate the Cvent story through creative, effective, solution-driven copy that speaks to our product benefits and resonates with our target market and their stage in the buying cycle. Position Duties: * Create engaging concepts and content for a variety of products. This content will focus heavily around email and direct marketing messages along with identifying and creating compelling long-form content assets * Ensuring all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person. This is to be done for each buyer persona within the enterprise * Mapping out a content strategy that supports and extends marketing initiatives, both short- and long-term, determining which methods work for the brand and why. Continuous evolvement of strategy * Craft messaging for email engagement programs that encourage prospects to digest persona and buying-stage specific content that pushes them along the buyer's journey * Work with web and digital marketing teams to develop landing page and website copy that converts visitors into interested buyers * Coordinate A/B testing for messaging and website pages to optimize conversion * Collaborate with Cvent's creative team, product teams, sales associates, and other internal stakeholders on integrated marketing campaigns and individual marketing communication efforts of various types * Ability to convert software features and functionality into value propositions in email campaigns and landing pages * 3-4 years writing experience in content creation, email marketing, or direct marketing desired * Bachelors Degree in English, Advertising, Communication or Journalism with strong academic scores * Self-starter with the ability to plan, execute, and manage projects effectively * Strong conceptual abilities, imagination and a passion for creating fresh, innovative content * The ability to work as part of a team to develop overall marketing campaigns, digital, print, email, from initial concept to execution * Strong creative writer who can tackle a variety of jobs in a fast-paced creative environment * Experience with B2B demand/lead generation processes preferred * Ability to write clear, persuasive marketing copy * Attention to detail, deadline focused, and ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks * High degree of computer literacy and proficient in Microsoft Office suite * Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences * Openness to constructive criticism and flexibility with regards to adaptation and modification * Ability to interact effectively with various levels of management and other departments, and collaborate with colleagues/partners to identify and implement process improvements EEO[/AA]Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans Cvent maintains a drug-free workplace
