Summary / Description We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Development Manager to join our team in the Washington, DC metro area to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems. In this role you will work within and across practices and organizations to design provide leading-edge technology or application solutions that result in profitable revenue growth for Unisys, where the focus is on development and delivery. Engineer, develop, implement and support integrated solutions for client engagements. Recognized in the industry as a notable expert in a specific technology, application or solution platform and uses this knowledge to generate profitable revenue growth for Unisys. Interfaces with the client's highest technical executives (eg, at the CXO level). Develops and integrates the most complex, leading-edge, and business critical solutions for major, enterprise-wide companies. Leads the technology or application solution for multiple projects. Serves as the technology mentor for major organizations across the company. May find, qualify and/or develop service opportunities. Negotiate the most optimal rate for the services provided. Works to ensure that a steady stream of follow-on services are made available to complement the original services offering. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with Unisys third party companies and with other Unisys business units. Uses these relationships to the best advantage of Unisys in client engagements. Present technology or application based papers to major conferences and publishes papers in professional journals and publications. Promotes Unisys and one's own capabilities by networking with peers in other companies and actively supporting professional organizations and user groups. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:SCRUM lead in Agile based environment supporting DevSecOps must have experience creating work breakdown structures and development of program schedules and assigning software development team personnel to tasks. Has supported Sprint planning (Burnup and Burndown charts, in technologies like Jira) Must have experience in the tracking resources and expenditures and in ensuring program success.Must have the ability to work autonomously or in a team environment with Government Program/Project Office staff and other contractors. Must be self-motivated and take initiative to continually meet with Project Managers on regular basis to manage Balance competing projects and tasks Must be able to effectively communicate with team including developers, project managers, product owners, and clients. Proven working experience in project management in the IT sector.Must have .NET based software development background, and can get Hands-on in support sprint efforts if required. Should have experience in all aspects of the Agile and/or SDLC in .NET environment. From requirements with UCD to automated deployment in DevSecOps environment. Requirements Position Requirements:U.S. CITIZENSHIP or GREEN CARD HOLDER REQUIREDMust be able to obtain a VA Public Trust Clearance.Master's Degree and 10 Years of experience or equivalent.
