Overview: MYMIC is currently seeking a JUNIOR to Mid-LEVEL SharePoint Developer/Network Specialist with SharePoint content management experience to provide enterprise technology, business process and knowledge management advice and support to the Joint Staff and its components. The Network Specialist will primarily focus on the production of enterprise solutions that utilize authoritative data sources within the Joint Staff environment. The Network Specialist will provide collaboration technology support to customers on the Joint Staff. The Network Specialist shall also assist with the planning and implementation of enterprise-level pilots, data calls, migrations and transitions. The Network Specialist should be familiar with requirements collection and customer service functions as identified in ITIL. Ideal candidates will have strong background/experience with Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013, JavaScript, and HTML, or other comparable advanced systems and languages. Responsibilities: Job Duties: Gather customer requirements, plan and develop solutions, and demo / train users on product for customer acceptance.Analyze business process with an understanding of technical problems and solutions as they relate to the current and future joint environment and provide recommendations as necessary.Integrate or replace outdated processes with new processes according to best practice and communicate any changes to impacted JS teams.Support Tier II and Tier III of the Service Desk, primarily with SharePoint in a business process environment.Recommend and facilitate quality improvement and collaboration efforts as it relates to IT.Support administration and management of JS SharePoint presences according to governance and best practice.Interact with users at various levels and evaluate vendor products.Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.Maintain current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned. Participate in special projects and enterprise-wide initiatives as required.Communicate and present information in a clear and professional manner.Working knowledge desired of Joint Information Environment (JIE).Working knowledge of enterprise solutions.Exceptional customer service skills required. Security: Top Secret clearance, verifiable in JPASEducation and Experience: Bachelor's Degree preferred in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or 1-3 years of directly related experience. Must have experience in SharePoint Content Management and knowledge of Business Processes. This contractor and subcontractor shall abide by the requirements of 41 CFR 60-1.4(a), 60-300.5(a) and 60-741.5(a).
