Govplace is a $130M organization and has been organically growing over 17% per year. As we continue to transform our business to meet the cloud and security needs of our government customers, the CFO will be an integral part of our executive team. We're looking for a seasoned team player that wants to be intimately involved in our organization's strategy development and critical decision-making activities. As a vital member of our executive team the CFO will be relied upon to build meaningful, timely and accurate financial and operational plans and reporting, along with associated recommendations to our internal business leaders. In addition, the CFO will be engaged in selecting, managing and interacting with the company's external stakeholders and partners including bankers, auditors, vendors and customers. Govplace is proud of our history of promoting from within and the CFO will manage, mentor and develop their team. As part of our shared services model, the CFO also manages our internal Information Technology support, and the Contracts and Procurement teams. Critical areas of focus and areas of responsibility include, but not limited to: 1. Strategy Partner with the CEO and leadership team to develop and refine Govplace's short and long-term strategy Evaluate business plan and recommend refinements, balancing growth and profit to minimize risk in execution and maximize long-term value Support the company's long-term vision with innovative ideas for growth capital and corporate structuring 2.Financial and Operational Management Provide best in class finance and accounting operations to our internal clients Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders Manage and oversee the company's external financial partners, including banking, auditing, risk management, legal and regulatory Responsible for the annual budget process, including planning, development and implementation Manage cash flow and forecasting Develop and enhance our financial planning and analysis capabilities Build dynamic new ways to provide meaningful, timely, accurate financial and operational information and recommendations to the business leaders Develop and direct corporate governance, compliance and quality programs Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities Ensure Information Technology resources meet the expanding needs of the organization Provide leadership to the contracts and procurement teams 3.Team Management Mentor and develop the Finance & Accounting, Contracts & Procurement and IT teams, preserving and building on our teams' current high-performance Partner with the CEO and executive team to preserve and nurture our unique culture, including our values of Respectful Candor, Integrity, Serious Fun and Entrepreneurial Innovation What you have (Requirements): BS in Accounting, Finance or related discipline 12+ years of increasing financial management responsibility Experience managing teams of talented and highly educated staff Budgeting, planning and financial analysis skills Deep understanding of, and experience with, government contracting programs and regulations, including interactions with the DCAA and DCMA Comfortable working with "C-level" executive teams and working as a true business partner to the CEO Authentic, emotionally intelligent and eager to collaborate Strong analytical skills and experience in developing strategy and interpreting a strategic vision into an operational model The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance Highly Desirable Attributes: MBA or MA/MS in a related discipline CPA or "Big Four" public accounting experience Experience with high transaction volumes supporting a Value-Added Reseller (VAR)
