Wylander, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is recruiting a Mitigation Project Manager for Purofirst of Metropolitan Washington located in Rockville, MD. Established in July 1994, Purofirst is a full-service, single-source provider of emergency restoration and repair/construction services. Now the largest franchisee in the PuroSystems network, Purofirst operates primarily in a 100-mile radius from its Rockville, MD headquarters. They are seeking a candidate that can provide exceptional customer service. As a Mitigation Project Manager you will be responsible for responding to water damaged structures both residential and commercial. This person will need to be able to make the customer comfortable that their structure is going to be handled with the best care. This person will also be responsible for performing site inspections, setting up and leading the crew members, documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of the loss through the use of Xactimate; negotiating with insurance carrier representatives; and working with additional contractors to repair the damage. Eligible for overtime On-call bonus Responsibilities: Use Xactimate software to estimate residential and commercial water, fire, and mold mitigation projects Ability to estimate and manage mitigation projects Respond to property damage emergency calls Ability to communicate with a variety of customers Inspect properties for water damage and develop a drying plan which includes the setup of drying equipment, monitoring temperature, relative humidity and specific humidity. Complete any necessary paperwork to record all job notes and utilize proprietary software if required Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors Participate in design, process and permit submittal Establish and maintain client relationships Attend all appropriate company meetings Additional duties required as needed Requirements: 3+ years' previous technician experience, preferably in the restoration industry Xactimate experience is a plus IICRC, WRT/ASD and MRT are preferred Program work is a plus Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detailed oriented person) Ability to recognize and solve problems independently Strong communication and negotiation skills Self-motivated, responsible and accountable Bilingual is a plus Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record Keywords: mitigation, management, Xactimate
