Ignition Interlock Service Technician III
Draeger is now hiring an Ignition Interlock Service Technician for our Chantilly, VA location.This position will Install, monitor, calibrate and remove the Ignition Interlock Device in accordance with state regulations from program participants' vehicles. (The interlock device prevents a vehicle from starting if the driver has been drinking).Those with previous experience in an automotive mechanical or electrical role are encouraged to apply!Company paid trainingBenefits: -Medical/Dental/Vision-401K w/ company match-Short-Term & Long-Term Disability-Paid Time Off-Tuition ReimbursementResponsibilities:-Install, monitor and remove interlocks from client cars, while collecting payments. -Download client data from interlocks as scheduled-Answer all incoming telephone calls expediently, transferring calls to staff or taking complete messages when appropriate-After hour emergency customer support as scheduled (ie, on-call)-Maintain clear and accurate records and files. -Prepare bank deposits, as required, along with daily reconciliations. Ensure all client files remain in a locked file cabinet and all client data remains secure at all times.-Prepare and maintain all equipment and supplies, including inventory of interlocks handsets, control boxes and helix cables -Maintain the Draeger image of a clean, safe and organized work area. -Submits quarterly progress report(s) to immediate manager-Performs other duties as needed or assigned-Must have a valid driver's license-High School Diploma or GED required -Previous experience in a mechanical technical role preferred-Previous experience working in a customer facing role preferred-Previous experience handling payments and transactions preferred-Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)-Ability to bend and kneel within a vehicle-Strong oral and written communication skills-Independent and team work skills-Available to work overtime and/or weekends as needed-Willingness to submit to a background check, drug screen and MVR checkAs an international medical and safety technology company with more than 13,900 employees, we can offer you an exciting position which you can really make your own.
