The Internal Sanitary Protection (ISP) Business Unit Manager provides direct leadership for all aspects of manufacturing operations for EPC's tampon business (Gentle Glide, Sport and OB - class 2 Medical Device). The scope of this operation involves $100 million in cost of goods sold and 1.5 billion tampons produced annually. Maintain a stable operation and meet all operating performance requirements and ensure improvement activities are in place and progressing to meet future needs as well. Accountabilities *Ensures that the manufacturing operation meets all performance expectations of the business unit - Safety, Quality, Cost - Inventory, Service, new product and commercial activities. *Ensures that the ISP Business Unit supports the overall Dover Site Strategy and Plan. *Development of the manufacturing organization towards higher capability and performance to meet future needs. *Proactive support of New Product Development (NPD) and Commercial initiatives in support of Brand growth and success. *BS in related field *15+ years of experience in manufacturing *10 years of manufacturing leadership at the Plant or Unit Operations Level. *Strong collaborative and team / individual interactive skills *Strong problem solving and action oriented approach to getting things done - Lean training, knowledge. *Results Driven *Strong organizational skills and establishing accountability *Shop floor leadership - frequent tier meetings with MBWA Preferred Skills and Experience *Advanced degree in Business Management preferred *Experience in CPG or related industry preferred (Medical device experience a plus) Working Relationships & Environment *Key Stakeholders to the position include: oAll Business Unit MFG colleagues for their growth, development and positive work experience. oAll Business Unit Leaders for direction of the Value Stream in pursuit of business and brand success. oBusiness partners and leaders (Marketing, Commercial, R&D, other) in support of their needs in driving the business. oSenior MFG leaders to support their defined Operational direction for the entire company. *Travel Requirements as necessary to meet the Business Unit needs - 2-3 days at a time - 8 times a year - international travel a possibility. *Physical requirements - normal fitness level for office work *Work schedule is built around a manufacturing operation with flexibility as needed to get the job done. *Normal Manufacturing exposure - need to fully understand the use of personal protective equipment.
