Summary / Description We are currently seeking a motivated, career and customer oriented Senior .Net Developer to join our team in The Washington, DC metro to begin an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems. In this role you will gain valuable career-enhancing experience as we support the design, development, testing, implementation, training, and maintenance of our federal government's critical systems. Duties/Tasks and Responsibilities:A Senior Developer must be able to create logical and functional software code in a variety of languages. Must have experience in understanding and articulating the benefits and risks associated with different coding languages in different functional environments. Must have experience reacting to problems and correcting the program as necessary.Lead Agile based team in DevSecOps based environmentSCRUM lead in Agile based environment supporting DevSecOps (Optional)Design, implement, and unit test application / system components Participate in product requirement and design reviews with product managers and other engineers. Develop time-estimates for work assignments. Develop light technical documentation, and support the QA, release, and production support processes. Work closely with the support teams to expeditiously resolve issues. . Successful track record in the design, development, documenting and testing of web-based applications on large-scale software systems 6yrs+ of .NET development experience and knowledge: Working knowledge with HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX and frameworks (dojo, jquery, YUI) Strong OO design patterns and concepts6yrs+ experience developing web applications using C# and ASP.NET MVC 6yrs+ experience developing web applications using IIS, ASP, XML/XSLT, and SQL Server. Knowledge/Languages: IIS, ASP.NET MVC, C#, .NET Framework, XML/XSLT, HTML, SQL Server. Experience developing SQL and/or PL/SQL queries, packages, and procedures. Working knowledge with RDBMS (Oracle), SQLExperience with EDI/XML mapping transformation tools is a plus. Service Oriented Architecture design and development experience a plus Agile development experience a plus Demonstrated expertise in software engineering practices (eg, reading/generating software specs, design patterns, continuous integration) Java development experience and knowledge of Java enterprise technologies a plus: Servlets/JSPs, EJB 2.0, EJB 3.0, JDBC, JMS, JNI Knowledge of MVC frameworks (Struts, SPRING) Experience with Webservices, JAX-WS, JAX-RS, XML, WSDL, JAXB Working knowledge with JPA frameworks (Hibernate)Supported DevSecOps in Open Source using (Jenkins, Maven, GitLab, etc.) Requirements Position Requirements:U.S. CITIZENSHIP or Green Card Holder REQUIREDMust be able to obtain a VA Public Trust Clearance.Full development lifecycle experience.
