Summary / Description We are seeking motivated, career and customer oriented Systems Engineers, interested in joining our team in Chantilly, VA, and exploring an exciting and challenging career with Unisys Federal Systems.Supports the agency's Chief Data Architect by providing technical leadership for data management strategies on the use, storage, and management of information as the systems engineer and integrator using continuous business process improvement to achieve the NGA Future State Vision customer service strategic objective.Tasks include:Demonstrating knowledge and experience with Data Lakes (for example: Microsoft Azure; Amazon Web Services) to include: collecting and storing data in a data lake, securing and protecting data in a central repository, searching and finding relevant data in a central repository, performing data analysis on data sets, querying data by defining the data's structure at the time of use (schema based), performing ad hoc analytics with unstructured or unknown datasets to enable exploration and discovery of new insights without converting the datasets into a well-defined schemaWorking with unstructured data and structured dataIncorporating business intelligence/business analytics by developing and deploying data discovery tools (data mining, dashboard visualization, using key performance indicators), using predictive modeling for business intelligence/business analytics, using knowledge management for data driven decision making, and using online analytical processing and alert toolsDemonstrate machine learning , perform data mining, and data modeling using Data Management Systems and building Tableau dashboards.Demonstrate experience in building Data Lakes (Visualization and Data Lake - VANDL), understand the Common Analytic Environement (CAE) and Amazon Web Services for cloud integration and cloud adoption. Develop Concepts of Operations Collaborate with Customers, engineers, analysts, CSI/ISI/ASI's, project managers, mission partners, other stakeholders to ensure Data Management activities are coordinated across NGA KC's, & NSG enterpriseForecast new capabilities and service needs for use in planning the Business Intelligence architecture and Business Intelligence collection focusing on Data Sciences. Report progress achieving project Mission Based Outcomes (MBOs), mission/business results/activities statusIdentification and management of appropriate performance measures and metrics for assess the overall state of the Data Management across the enterprise Ensure quality standards are measured and maintained through the NGA life-cycleEnsure mission & information assurance, and security policies and standards are adhered toKeep NGA/SEIN project leadership apprised of NGA Data Management activities priorities & current status Requirements Required Qualifications:Master's in Engineering, CS, Info Systems, Math or related scientific or technical discipline and minimum 10 years recent agency experience or equivalent blend of education & experience. Prefers 15+ years IT SE&I&A (eg, planning, scheduling, analysis, capability implementation, process) experience, with 10 years recent agency experience.TS/SCI Clearance (with a current SSBI favorably adjudicated within the last 5 years)10 years SE&I experience working with GEOINT capabilities, Portfolios, PORs, systems, segments Must have Agile experience or SAFe Agile Certified Broad knowledge of NGA and IC/DoD architectures and missions, both as-is & Future State Vision (FSV)Knowledge of NGA Strategic Objectives and Portfolio Initiatives (ABI, OBP {SOM, MoW}, NGT, OIT)Able to identify derived mission capabilities needs from CONOPS and mission workflows, and to identify deficiencies in current capabilities and processes, & perform tech insertion into mission migration strategyAbility to identify mission, work flow, inefficiency, technology gaps in current capabilities and processesStrong customer service/teaming, data gathering/analytical skill; able to collaborate across functional teamStrong interpersonal, problem-solving, organization, client relationship, multi-tasking, load-balancing skillStrong written, verbal, presentation skills; ability to lead tech forums with senior government personnelAbility to interface and effectively communicate with mission and technical personnel at multiple levelsDesired Qualifications:SE&I (INCOSE, DAU), IT (ITIL), IA (CISSP), Agile (SCRUM), PMI/DAWIA certifications/proficiencyExperience/proficiency working in customer service organization, preferably in an online environmentExperience in strategic planning, especially as it applies to online virtual web services business operationsWorking knowledge of the NSG, NGA (KC's, POR's, TA's, Portfolio's organizations {especially CS Pf})Project Engineering / Technical Task Lead & Agile SE&I (SAFe implementation) skills/experienceExperience in commercial industry IT Systems & Technology, including product workflows, information ops/assurance, cloud-based service oriented architectures, data/metadata standards, industry best practices About Unisys Do you have what it takes to be mission critical?
