Job Summary:The Benefits Representative works in a call center environment acting as the main resource for benefits education benefit problem resolution, and general benefits administration.Essential Functions:Provide world class customer service in a call center environment receiving both heavy call and email volumeProcess paper applications and change formsProcess court ordered and company paid benefit requestsReconcile benefit data between Company and Broker through an error reporting systemObtain a thorough understanding of all company benefit offeringsAct as a liaison between employees, Field Support, Benefit Broker, insurers, etc.Ad hoc projects as necessaryDecision Making Level:The Benefits Representative will utilize their knowledge and experience to resolve benefit problems.Minimum Education and/or Experience:2-3 years' experience in a customer service capacity with a concentration in Benefits preferredHigh school diploma some college preferredProficient in MS Excel and WordKnowledge of PeopleSoft preferredRequisite Abilities and/or Skills:Outstanding customer service skillsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsExcellent Verbal and written communicationAction oriented and able to prioritize while handling multiple tasksAbility to protect and maintain confidentiality of dataCore Competencies:Customer ServiceBuilding RelationshipsBusiness Knowledge / Organizational AcumenInitiative and DriveLeading Self and OthersAbout Allegis:Since our company was founded in 1983, the Allegis Group Companies continue to be an organization of employees who are driven to succeed and motivated by a strong desire to serve others.
