Configuration Management Architect
Summary: Paradyme Management is seeking a Configuration Management Architect to join a growing and active team. The CM Architect will work closely with various development teams, delivery teams, and systems administrators to streamline the build and integration and release process and introduce automation as appropriate. The CM Architect is a subject matter expert who establishes controls and processes around these functions as well as maintains configuration baselines and seeks automation to enable efficient processes. Experience at the Subject Matter Expert level. 5+ years of experience with deployment or O&M operation to support production systems Have demonstrated experience architecting a CM infrastructure and implementing it Have CM experience that includes, foundational frameworks, templates, governance, process, tools and methodologies Previous experience of application level support, migration, deployment activities is preferred Have demonstrated a solid project where they designed and implemented cross-platform CM framework Experience with Configuration Control Board (CCB) Reviewed changes in the service Configuration for compliance with standards, contractual and internal requirements Have had hands-on experience with standard Software CM tools such as the Subversion, CVS, PVCS, GIT, Github, Jenkins in implementing SCM best practices Have Agile experience Some experience with Configuration Change Control, Status Accounting and Configuration Audits Implementation of standards and processes to ensure that all CM procedures/designs are produced with proper integrity SCM best practice, performance, and quality Product development life cycle knowledge in CM arena; eg release, packaging of application code, scripts/deliverables, documentation, version control etc. CMMI Certification is preferred Experience of working as configuration manager in client environment is highly desired Must be extremely organized Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills.
