Ref ID: 02100-9500760281Classification: Account Executive/Staffing ManagerCompensation: $50.00 to $90.00 per hourThis Developer will be responsible for maintenance and enhancement of existing ServiceNow ITSM applications as well as implementation and development of new applications on the ServiceNow platform. To be successful, you should have prior experience implementing and deploying the core suite of ITSM applications (Incident, Problem, Change), as well as experience developing solutions across the ServiceNow platform that leverage the automation and integration capabilities of ServiceNow. In this role, you will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team of multiple software developers and other IT professionals to support, maintain, and enhance the service ServiceNow ITSM application in support of the mission. You will join a highly collaborative team focused on delivering high value to its customers. You will work in close cooperation with other developers, managers and product owners on project teams, as well as work independently on smaller efforts with limited direct supervision. Demonstrate expert knowledge of ServiceNow toolset and integrations with related systems. . Develop, maintain and enhance applications on the ServiceNow ITSM platform (help desk/service management) . Support the team in ServiceNow operations like User/ Group administration, reporting, Metrics, SLAs, etc. . Leverage both proven and innovative technology approaches to solve challenging business problems . Provide technical assessments, written documentation and technical expertise . Be available for on-call rotation to support any production issues impacting ServiceNow or its related systems within the enterprise supported by the team. . Support and enhance reporting solutions both within ServiceNow and through external reporting solutions to support the customer's strategic goals . Contribute to the team's efforts to consistently meet the KPIs and goals set by the customer . Communicate with the customer in non-technical terms, understand their business requirements, and provide suitable solutions. . Work on continuous improvement by sharing experiences and knowledge within the team . Provide quality and consistent service to the customer. BS/BA degree and 6+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience - 2+ years ServiceNow development experience (including some or all of the following: Core ITSM applications, Business Rules, Client Scripts, Custom Apps) - Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform, including: core ITSM tables, Glide, scripting, and development methods. - 5+ years web development {(X)HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, and at least one of the following back-end technologies (PHP, .Net, Java, ColdFusion)}, or prior experience developing ITSM solutions - Strong JavaScript development background including: core language and 3rd party libraries - Solid understanding of SOAP web services Strong communication and interpersonal skills - ITILv3 Foundations Certification - Experience implementing scripted web services in ServiceNow - jQuery or Prototype libraries - Java - CMDB/Asset integrations in ServiceNow - SAML, Active Directory, LDAP - Experience following Agile Scrum development methods Delivery Specifics: .
