Commissioning Technician RMF is currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Technician to work in its Field Services Department in their Baltimore, Maryland location. Job Description The new Commissioning Technician will be part of a team involved in the quality control of a wide variety of new construction projects as well as MEP surveys for existing building. Tasks will follow standards for New Building Commissioning and Retro-Commissioning practices. Duties will include but not be limited to: task management, design review, host meetings, construction inspections, energy analysis, field testing, troubleshooting MEP systems, and authoring reports. The individual must excel in communication and will be regularly communicating with clients, contractors and other engineering companies. Qualifications: Applicable qualifications include: Microsoft Word (Required) Microsoft Excel (Required) 2 to 3 Years' experience in construction industry (Preferred) TAB experience (Preferred) Controls experience (Preferred) Contractor experience (Preferred) Willing to travel and security clearances and/or the ability to be cleared (Preferred) 4 year bachelors of engineering degree and/or 2 year engineering degree (Preferred) Opportunities Candidate will work under the direct supervision of a licensed professional engineer and have the opportunity to receive training in engineering, MEP design, the commissioning process, and team leadership. Individual will have the opportunity to learn and apply the business side of an engineering consulting firm. Local, national and international projects present a huge opportunity for travel.
