DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES Imagery Analyst Journeyman utilizes in-depth knowledge and experience in applying analytic methodologies and principles to develop intelligence reports and products. Position leverages extensive understanding of GIS technology, Electronic exploitation tools, spatial thinking, remote sensing, intelligence issues, and the social and physical sciences to create information, characterize events, and discover relationships and trends. Performs analyst functions and integrates multifaceted intelligence information from various sources to produce descriptive and predictive analyses. Professionally communicates findings as written, visual, and/or oral intelligence products to senior clients. Advises client and assists in resolving complex problems. Directs junior analysts on activities related to the application of analytical techniques and methodologies. Bachelor's Degree required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. 3 to 10 years of relevant experience with imagery, geospatial intelligence and all types of imagery analysis for Intelligence Community members at the national level Proficiency with digital image processing and manipulation, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), imagery intelligence production, remote sensing, and photogrammetry. Attended either the Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or equivalent Knowledge of and experience with softcopy exploitation tools and functions Strong knowledge of the intelligence collection process to include NGA's relationships with other IC agencies Knowledge of terrorism related issues In-depth knowledge of RemoteView, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, NES, ERDAS IMAGINE, ESRI tools and other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data. Demonstrated knowledge of MSI, commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors. DEMONSTRATED CUSTOMER SUPPORT SKILLS US Citizenship is required.
