ANNOUNCEMENT Contract Support Specialist II Procurevis, Inc. is a procurement strategy, solutions and consulting firm for the Federal Government. We specialize in supporting clients engaged in the acquisition and management of information technology, engineering, logistics, complex weaponry, systems, and solutions. The Contract Specialist support will include Contract administration support for contract task orders, modifications and or administrative packages development as required. Additionally, the contractor shall provide program management support, assist in documenting program files, organizing format for active file use and staging, contract file development, documentation, and administrative support as needed. All electronic project documentation will be posted real-time into the Contracting folders. Personnel shall be experienced in contract administration and familiar with Air Force contracting policies and procedures. Job Summary Duties also include but are not limited to the performance of pre and post award procurement functions for a variety of complex, high dollar acquisitions, a variety of fixed price and cost reimbursement contracts; working knowledge of federal procurement regulations and policies as well as the ability to perform cost and price data analysis in order to determine price reasonableness; preparation of contractual files and electronic documentation; preparation of contracting recommendations for the Contracting Officer that require research and interpretation of evolving government regulations, policies, guidance and laws. Job Responsibilities Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Minimum of 5 years Contract Support Must have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate orally and in writing. Must have documented experience in and working knowledge of Government/defense programs. Familiar with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and other supplement based procurements. Procuring a wide variety of products and services Administering terms and conditions of contracts Negotiating and awarding contracts and contract modifications Monitoring contractors' performance Performing work associated with termination of contracts. Performing market research to evaluate potential alternatives for customer needs Reviewing and interpreting provisions of a wide variety of government contract types and methods, analyzing difficult contracting issues, identifying alternative courses of action and resolving problems. Analyzing proposals' compliance with contract laws and policy guidance. Negotiating contract actions and post-award changes to establish fair and reasonable terms, conditions, and prices. Communicating contract requirements, terms/conditions, and issues in preparing government contract solicitations, responding to contractor's comments and preparing correspondence and other documentation related to contract management. Negotiating with contractors including tentative and final settlements in a timely manner and preparing paperwork to meet regulatory requirements for approval by the contracting officer. Proposing solicitations, contracts, and modifications using automated contract writing systems and related processes. Working with teams in a federal acquisition environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred but not required. Coursework in contracts and/or finance desired. Physical/Technical/Motor Skill Requirements: Must be DAWIA/FAC-C Certified Must know PRISM Ability to effectively operate a personal computer and other peripheral office equipment (fax, photocopier, scanner, etc.) Knowledge of office processes, procedures and technology. Knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and the knowledge of database software. Attention to detail. Ability to follow-through on tasks and assignments until completed. Ability to multi-task effectively and document status on all projects.
