Cvent, Inc. is seeking a Team Lead/Manager HR Operations to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will provide both leadership oversight and individual contribution on a variety of human resources programs, policies, and practices that enhance the employee experience, expands the organization and minimizes corporate risk. This person offers thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution; provides insightful data to guide decision-making and provides proactive solutions. They will manage a variety of strategic and long-range HR projects in support of our employee engagement, retention, high performance and HR service delivery goals. They will lead a small team of HR professionals. What You Will Be Doing Employee Lifecycle management Manages the new hire orientation process, ensuring a high touch experience Contributes in the HR due-diligence of mergers and acquisitions Manages the onboarding of acquisitions and people programs for other corporate development transactions Oversees the employee exit process Shared Services Plans builds, organizes, and measures activities of the HR shared services team. Optimizes HR service delivery experience, ensuring all inquiries are resolved in a timely manner and in accordance with key performance indicators (KPIs) Interacts cross functionally with Centers of Expertise and HR Business Partners, Payroll, Information Technology and various departments to ensure handoffs, communication and interactions are customer focused, seamless and delivered with high quality Compliance Serves as a consultant in the delivery of required compliance and HR procedures training sessions Suggests legal compliance improvements by monitoring applicable human resource federal and state/provincial requirements Ensures SOX compliance within the HR payroll and HRIS processes Co-leads the affirmative action program annually, suggests possible solutions, and trains recruiting team Develops, recommends, interprets and implements HR policies, guidelines, and procedures (national and international) Must be a Human Resources professional with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant experience, including some people leadership experience Must possess a Bachelor's degree Past international HR experience or M&A experience helpful Must have project management experience and ability to self-manage with minimal direction Must be willing to lead team and provide individual contribution Must have a good executive presence coupled with the ability to manage change and overcome resistance HRCI or SHRM certification preferred EEO[/AA]Minorities/Females/Disabled/Veterans Cvent maintains a drug-free workplace
