Description: The primary purpose of this job is to plan, organize, develop and direct all in-service educational programs throughout the facility in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, and as may be directed by the administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. Also responsible for the employee health program and infection control. Job Duties: To ensure that all employees are offered/administered PPD's, screened for TB, Hepatitis B Vaccines, Flu Vaccines. Ensures the infections control practices and policies comply with State and Federal regulations. Collect data from all blood born pathogen exposure and maintains the confidentiality of all employee health records. Conducts in-service training with all departments regarding infection control practices. Plan, develop, direct, evaluate and coordinate educations and on the job training programs.
