Vencore is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled Responsibilities: Provides Division-level systems engineering and integration support to multiple levels of Customer management and associate contractor(s) in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with unique mission requirements. Duties include, but are not limited to:* Support to technical exchange meetings--coordination of agendas, action status/responses, making recommendations to Customer leadership, recording and publishing decisions made; coordinates across Division to ensure execution of decisions* Prepare/coordinate or review technical documentation and provide recommendation(s) to Division Management and/or Business Owner(s), as applicable; coordinate with Team(s) to develop engineering/physical sciences modeling within the division in order to identify unit-level requirements for new modeling systems to enhance current or projected requirements.* Develops engineering/physical sciences modeling within the division in order to identify unit-level requirements for new modeling systems to enhance current or projected requirements.* Provides input for work contracted with major university departments and other agencies on state-of-the-art chemical, nuclear, and/or hydrological transport modeling research and development (R&D).* Assists in the usage of engineering/physical sciences models and their output, authors written assessments and interpretations of modeling outputs and incorporates these into comprehensive technical assessments.* The division's technical leads for model validation. Assists senior engineers/physical scientists with research and special studies to validate capabilities of new technologies. Requires:TS/SCI w Poly Degree: physical science, engineering, or mathematics that included 24 semester hours in physical science and/or related engineering science such as mechanics, dynamics, properties of materials, and electronics.* Knowledge of concepts and principles in the fields of chemical/nuclear engineering or physical sciences.* Knowledge of program management requirements, procedures, and techniques as applied to resource management, cost estimation, and preparation of statements of work.* Knowledge of mission objectives, engineering/physical sciences related mission requirements, and potential impacts of engineering/physical sciences on mission accomplishment is required.* Knowledge of modeling techniques and ability to communicate eectively both orally and in writing, in order to produce scientific reports and high-level briefings; and maintain good working relationships.Requires 10 to 12 years with BS/BA or 8 to 10 years with MS/MA or 5 to 7 years with PhD.
