Experis is seeking a Technical Recruiter for our partner, a leader in higher education, to join their team in Reston VA. As part of their Talent Acquisition team you will partner with leaders and professionals in our IT and Operations unit to support them in their incredibly important hiring initiatives. You will do this by developing highly innovative and proactive sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates outside of typical recruitment channels and you will use broad knowledge and understanding of the technologies currently in use by our IT and Operations unit to manage these full-lifecycle recruitment efforts. The heart of your day will focus on using as many channels as possible to identify and connect with top tier technical talent, both active and passive, introduce the opportunities and manage the recruitment process through to a successful hire. Required Skills: A minimum of 5 years of experience in full-lifecycle recruitment, working either in a corporate recruiting environment or with an IT sourcing firm with at least 3 years of experience focused on technical recruitment at all levels. Must have a proven understanding of the software development lifecycle, development languages, infrastructure, platforms and dependencies and web technologies. Strong record of successfully recruiting technical candidates in Engineering, Cyber Security, and information Technology. Ability to manage a large work-load managing multiple concurrent searches. Developing prospects into candidates, engaging them and performing assessment/screening. Additional Qualifications: Extensive knowledge of social network platforms, online communities, conferences and other potential sourcing pools used to attract top tier active and passive candidates. Must have proven expertise in passive, senior level technical recruiting. Responsiveness/flexibility to candidates schedules which may require recruitment during off hours. Excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills and team based project experience. Decisive ability to shift priorities and function effectively in a dynamic fast paced work culture.
