Account executives at GS Marketing are responsible for planning and executing a sales-led growth strategy for automobile dealerships within an assigned territory--a sales territory that you would manage like your own business. Your customers are gold and you would treat them like family. You would make nice by building lasting relationships. You would listen. You would listen some more. Then, you would design automotive marketing campaigns that would create the biggest impact for a dealership's business. A Day In The Life As an account executive for GS Marketing, your typical day might include: Planning your contacts and visiting 2-3 dealership clients in your territory to simply say hello, check in and see how things are going Meeting with a general manager on how GSM can improve a dealership's marketing presence Conducting a 'showroom audit' at a dealership; assessing how you can help drive traffic with GSM's new vehicle programs Making a couple of cold calls Visiting the corporate office in Houston for new product orientation and training What Success Looks LikeYou will be handsomely rewarded for growing the number and size of accounts by selling an industry-leading suite of automotive marketing products, including, digital, mobile and traditional marketing channels.
