Retail Merchandising Manager
PURPOSE: Oversee all facets of merchandising in assigned locations while working with all personnel associated with the process. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS: Reports to the Merchandiser of New Stores. Works closely with store management. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Develops and maintains merchandise standards in assigned stores Trains and develops Store Managers in merchandising standards Balances and maintains merchandise levels in the stores Determines what merchandise will sell in each local market Understands the distribution of merchandise Conducts the operational functions of the position in a timely and proper fashion Perform special projects in merchandising assigned by the Merchandiser of New Stores COMPETENCIES OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE DECISION QUALITY: Make correct decisions based on analysis, experience and judgment.
