RKL Resources has been retained on behalf of a well known and respected client to find Medical Assistants. Our client is a well known and respected healthcare client offering a Mon - Fri schedule, no nights, weekends, or holidays. Medical Assistants work under the administrative supervision of the Center Manager, with clinical guidance and direction from the Physician. Successful candidates will be able to greet patients; relay telephone messages to the appropriate recipients; assist with procedures; and perform various other assigned clinical responsibilities, utilizing sterile and aseptic techniques. We are looking for Medical Assistants who recognize the impact intractable pain has on quality of life, and reflect an attentive, personalized approach to patient care. One year of directly related experience, preferably in a group practice, is strongly preferred. Must demonstrate basic office skills, as well as the aptitude to learn new software technology for patient registration, records, dictation, and transcriptions. Excellent patient care skills, the ability to take vital signs, knowledge of health care and medical terminology, and awareness of the legal implications of work and words in healthcare are also required. Knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA regulations. Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future. Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving, criminal, employment reference, education, and social security.
