Position Description, Functions, and Responsibilities: Design/Build/Write reports and queries on Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time & Expense tables using IBM Cognos Report Studio, Query Studio and SQL queries. Support reporting requirements of Finance, Accounting, Payroll, Procurement, and other shared service department. Function as system administrator for IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence reporting tool. Maintain reporting data warehouse. Build and maintain report frameworks and packages using Cognos Framework Manager. Create and maintain report triggers and daily, monthly and weekly scheduled reports. Support the financial planning & forecasting process, including coordination, tasks scheduling and forecast consolidation. Participates in establishing requirements for and designing, developing and managing financial reporting solutions. Interface with Contracts, IT, HR and delivery teams to integrate cross-functional information requirements. Support all groups for application and technical problems that pertain to Costpoint, Time & Expense, and Cognos. Maintain Cognos and other FP&A documentation on Finance SharePoint site. Support ad hoc data requests. Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree or a related discipline. Qualifications: 8-10 years' experience relevant to the position description. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance. In depth, operational experience with IBM Cognos 10 Business Intelligence. Operational experience with Deltek Costpoint accounting system. General knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). Advanced Microsoft Excel tools (pivot tables, VBA). Experience utilizing verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate virtually, to multiple functions, cultures and to different levels of management. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities and projects.
