Electrical Controls EngineerElectrical Controls EngineerAn expanding industrial automation solutions provider with significant experience in specifying, designing, and implementing industrial automation systems for a wide variety of industries with specialties in Pharma, Discrete Manufacturing, Water Treatment Facilities, and Energy. We are looking for a Controls Engineer to be based in Virginia.Our projects deal with PLC based control systems, SCADA systems, and web based reporting in the areas of packaging, process manufacturing control, facilities monitoring, and water/wastewater treatment.Responsibilities:The Controls Engineer is an experienced role with specialized skills that include specific Domain Expertise. A qualified Engineer will be capable of designing an entire system and managing a project within an industry domain from start to finish with minimal oversight. A qualified candidate is capable of and responsible for performing;Controls System Design and programming skills are a key componentWorking with clients to ensure completion of projectsExecuting a single large project and/or working on multiple smaller projects to a specific timeline and budget.Coordinating and managing other Engineer and Technician resources assigned to projectApplying specific Domain Expertise to a project solutionCoaching and Mentoring other EngineersRequirements:4 Year Undergrad Degree in EE/ME/ChE required RSLogix 5000 / ControlLogix experience is kety for this position Experience with PLCs: Allen-Bradley -required; others (ex: GE, Mitsubishi, Modicon, Siemens, etc.), SCADA and HMI programming is required Experience with HMI programming (FactoryTalk View, InTouch, Cimplicity) required Familiar with industrial network protocols (ex: Ethernet/IP, DeviceNet, Profinet, etc.) Ability to design, implement, install, and troubleshoot industrial process control systems AutoCAD and/or electrical design experience preferredExperience with Historian databases (InSQL, Proficy Historian) and relational databases (MS Access, MS SQL Server), Visual Basic, SQL, Windows networking for industrial applications a plus, packaging/material handling or process control preferred **All qualified candidates please contact: Mike Puhl**Phone: 302-324-9400Email resume to: [Click Here to Email Your Resume]
