Construction Project Administrator The Construction Project Administrator is responsible for managing all administrative aspects of a construction project, including invoicing, submittals, customer billings, and communicating with customers. This individual must display a high degree of professionalism, organization and cooperation with customers and coworkers. Duties/Responsibilities, Core knowledge: * Assist in setting up all project administration documents * Create all contract documentation including subcontract agreements, change orders & purchase orders * Review, validate and process outside vendor expenses * Monitor all project financials; tracking planned cost vs. actual. Job progress vs. amount billed. * Review customer billing requirements within the contract and complete as necessary. Monitor payables beyond 30 days and notify Construction Manager * Confirm that all project documents have been collected * Ensure project file integrity (confirm that all project docs have been collected ie bonds, insurance, subcontract signed and fully executed as applicable), project specs, safety plans * Collect, validate and file project field report * Special projects as needed * Work directly with account payables; subcontractors, accounts receivable, state agencies as needed for tax issues, government reporting, and/or wage issues, etc. * High School Diploma or GED * Experience working in a fast-paced office environment * Office/Business support background * Proficient with spreadsheets and software * Ability to multi-task and prioritize work load * Exceptional organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities, effective team player, self motivated, quick learner * Excellent communication skills with the ability to read, write and communicate fluently in English * Superior written, oral and digital communication skills * Email, internet, Excel, Word (MS Office products) and others
