As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. We are seeking an individual with strong analytical skills that excels working in a challenging and fast-paced work environment while contributing to the continued success of the firm. Key responsibilities - Manage Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports - Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. - Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Engage in various department-wide initiatives - Continuously analyze current automation of the accounting and reporting process and present improvement suggestions - Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary - Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated PL and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management- Background in Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - Self-starter and strong ethical standards - Understanding of Hyperion reporting products required - Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement - Solid understanding of Deltek preferred - Expertise in month end closings - High degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Prior work done in public accounting is desired - Knowledge of equipment lease accounting - Experience in SOX control execution/documentation - Vow to meet business deadlines - Must have excellent time management skills - 3+ years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experience - Excellent analytical, quantitative and social skills - Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment - Ability to communicate verbally and in writing effectively throughout all levels of the organization, both internally and externallyRobert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
