Who We Are: Community Options, Inc. is a Non-Profit company which develops residential and employment supports for people with disabilities, utilizing technology and training. We recognize that people with disabilities need environments, equipment, clinical and staff support that are tailored to their very specific needs. What You Will Be Doing: Ensures all staff scheduling in homes, including approval of Paid Time Off, tracking absenteeism, etc., and communicates any issues or concerns to Program Managers and to the Residential Coordinator or Executive Director. Develops and maintains a functioning PRN staff availability contact log to ensure minimum overtime. Monitors and maintains current employee status on all PRN staff. Meets with the Weekend On-Call Program Manager on a weekly basis (each Friday, if possible) to provide updated information and weekend schedules. Ensures minimal amounts of overtime and submits overtime tracking data on a weekly basis to the Residential Coordinator and Executive Director. Makes recommendations to the Residential Coordinator for the development of current and future programs. Consults with Program Managers regarding attendance, punctuality, timesheet documentation, etc., relating to appropriate staff evaluations. Schedules and reviews training for Community Support Staff to ensure Individual Specifics training has been completed in accordance with internal policies and state and other applicable regulations. Conducts all initial interviews and assists in completion of New Hire paperwork for Community Support Staff. Reviews all direct care staff time-cards in accordance with the payroll schedule. Responsible for covering shift's as necessary. Cooperates with internal and State inspections and investigations. What Experience/Skills You Have: 2+ years' experience working with individuals w/ developmental disabilities, preferably in a community setting At least 1 year experience as a manager or supervisor, with at least 5 direct reports At least 1 year experience managing the hiring process Bachelor's Degree plus one year experience in a related field; or High School Diploma with 3 years' experience in related field, in lieu of degree.
