Restaurant Sous Chef $50,000 to $55,000 + Bonus Premier Upscale Casual Dining Medical Benefits after 90 days Are you an accomplished Culinary Manager / Sous Chef? Do you have experience preparing meals from scratch yet accustomed to a set menu? Then this is the place for you! You will prepare perfectly aged meats, fresh seafood, and other unique scratch-made specialties for guests while having the support and strong financial backing of a large restaurant corporation. You will have the opportunity to have ongoing training and development, You will work with some of the best and brightest managers in the restaurant industry. Responsibilities: * The Sous Chef is responsible for supporting and leading a team of culinary professionals * Deliver high-quality, great tasting food * Contributes to building top line sales and guest count through the delivery of a competitively superior team member and guest experience. * The Sous Chef works with the Executive Chef and ensures menu items are executed with excellence in the restaurant. * Ensures quality in all aspects of their job. Qualifications: * Must have upscale casual or casual dining experience in a small, upscale chain, regional chain, or national chain. * Logical, steady career progression. * Highly prefers local candidates, looking to advance and grow with the company * No more than 3 jobs in 7 years. * Must show good P&L skills, product knowledge, customer service skills. * Must be comfortable and accustomed to dealing with upscale clientele. * Accustomed to sales volume of at least $2 Million per year. Must have 2-3 years (RECENT) Restaurant Chef experience in Upscale Casual Dining Restaurant Excellent Job Tenure - no more than 3 jobs in 7 years Must live within 40 minutes of location. No exceptions please.
