JOB SUMMARY: The Account Director serves as the primary business contact for the client and is responsible for client satisfaction. The Account Director is expected to consistently provide excellent customer service to accounts, as well as represent client needs and goals within the organization to ensure quality. In addition, the Account Director will build relationships with clients to encourage new and repeat business opportunities. We are looking at a senior sales person who has a long history on working with MNOs core network elements, Messaging Platforms, OSS/BSS or RAN. The person should have sold solutions that integration into the various network elements in the provisioning chain and is capable of doing different business models. The position requires experience on selling solutions which include components from Managed Services, In-Network Licensed components and Services. The Account Director will represent G&D's full portfolio with SIM card and Software Solutions for the Mobile Network Operators and take a leadership role for the Account to manage communication and relationships on multiple levels. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Reports to the Vice President of Sales, providing regular input on all account activity, including status and call reports on a weekly basis. Responsible for all client communications, conflict resolution, and compliance on client deliverables and revenue. Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an efficient manner, informing the Vice President or Segment Head of any problems that may arise. Owns the contract and contract renewals for new work for an existing client. Approves Change Orders and invoices, and is responsible for payment collections. Works closely with the project team in order to maintain a continuous knowledge of project status in order to identify potential issues and/or opportunities within or related to the project. Coordinates conversations as needed towards Product Management organizations in Europe. Ensures that all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and that projects are profitable. Aware and in pursuit of opportunities for account growth and new business, involving the Vice President of Sales. Communicates the client's goals and represents the client's interests to the team. Provides regular two-way communication between the client and team, to provide strong team representation and set proper client expectations. Understanding of company's capabilities and service, and effectively communicates all offerings to the client. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS: Proven Account Management skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relationships Minimum 5 years of Account experience Technical competence (understand Telecom Networks) Motivated, goal oriented, persistent and a skilled negotiator High level of initiative and work well in a team environment Excellent written and oral communication skills Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction Undergraduate degree, preferred Equal Opportunity Employer
