As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. How you will make an impact - Produce monthly consolidated PL and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes - Offer involvement in various department-wide initiatives - Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary - Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables primarily in the compensation area such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports - Assist in coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Present analysis on financial results such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. - Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests If interested in this or similar positions, please send a Word version of your resume to [Click Here to Email Your Resume].- Proficient in Microsoft Excel - Understanding of Hyperion reporting products required - SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience - Ability to work well in matrix organization and dealing with ambiguity - Ability to meet deadlines - Detailed and have the ability work independently - Prior work done in public accounting is desired - Account analysis experience desired - Takes action on items beyond formal job responsibilities - Background in Oracle/Hyperion/SAP Business Objects/SFDC/Tableau - Knowledge of equipment lease accounting - Strong communication skills and able to receive criticism well - Strong time management skills preferred - Proven analytical skills - defining problems, collecting relevant data, drawing valid conclusions, and recommending improvement/corrective actions - BA/BS in Accounting, CPA credentials are preferred - 3 plus years of overall general accounting experience, ideally with Big 4 experienceRobert Half Finance & Accounting, the world's leader in specialized financial staffing, provides exciting full-time opportunities in the areas of accounting, bookkeeping, finance, audit, taxation and more.
