Practice Development Coordinator
Greenberg Traurig, a global law firm, currently has a full-time employment opportunity in the Marketing Department, based in our Washington, DC office. Position Summary The Practice Development Coordinator will be responsible for advancing and coordinating a broad range of marketing, practice group management and business development activities related to the firm's global Labor & Employment and Health Care & FDA practices. This candidate must possess a strong client service orientation and an ability to develop relationships with attorneys and marketing colleagues in the firm. Duties & Responsibilities Draft pitches, proposals, presentations and other client-facing materials, utilizing existing content Draft and otherwise assist with the preparation of responses to RFPs & RFIs, including execution and delivery Draft and otherwise assist with the preparation of various industry directory submissions and nominations, including execution and delivery Work with marketing systems and shared drives, including tracking information regarding win/loss rates for pitches and RFPs, and assist with experience database updates Work with the firm's Business Intelligence team to prepare and analyze market research and data Draft, edit and distribute marketing materials, internal newsletters, press releases, seminar materials, client updates, and other client communications, as needed Organize practice group events, sponsorships, advertisements, invitations, and speaking engagements, and the marketing thereof Create, edit and update practice area content Ensure the flow of information from attorneys to marketing team, including as it relates to attorney biographies, practice area description updates, experience tracking news and activities data, press releases, etc. Collaborate with marketing professionals throughout the firm, including the communications team, events team, design team, professional development team, and technology team Responsible for updating and maintaining various databases, trackers, and lists Assist with a variety of other short and long term projects and attorney requests Provide back-up services to the team on an as-needed basis Skills & Competencies The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter with excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding analytical skills. The successful candidate must work well under pressure, have the ability to manage simultaneous deadlines, and demonstrate attention to detail. Qualifications & Prior Experience Position requirements include: a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business or related field. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 2-4 years marketing experience; legal or professional services marketing experience preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and the Microsoft Office suite of applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
