IBA is looking for a Health Information Technology (HIT) I Transition Coordinator to support IBA's DoD client located at Ft. Detrick, MD. The HIT I Transition Coordinator works with the Portfolio Manager to provide oversight, guidance and strategic support on program objectives and serves as senior expert for overall transition coordination/execution. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Plan and manage complex technology transition activities within the HIT/I research products pipeline. Perform extensive analysis and review of issues of interest to a board range of federal agencies influenced by substantive technology translation programs. Develop and maintain a broad informal network of contacts with the MHS HIT/I user, capabilities, development and acquisition communities, to include industry. Identify, mitigate and resolve transition risks, issues, and concerns include those generated by, or of potential interest to, to health information/informatics program stakeholders. Conduct the evaluation of technologies in operationally relevant environments and determine the technological capabilities and operational readiness for transition. Understand MHS and DHA mission, function, programs and command structures to initiate transition of technologies activities. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: Program Management experience and understanding of acquisition processes, regulations, policies and procedures. Background and knowledge in Healthcare and Health Information Technologies/Systems. Ability to multitask and execute tasks and projects in a timely and accurate manner. Ability to perform essential duties and responsibilities. Education, Certifications, and Work Experience Requirements: Bachelor's degree and/or work experience required by contract labor category. Seven (7) years' of progressively responsible work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree. Project Management Certification. Certified DAWIA Level III. Background and knowledge in Military Healthcare. Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of health information technologies, an understanding of Defense Health Agency (DHA) Health Information Technology (HIT) Program Offices, and a familiarization of DoD Joint Services . Demonstrate extensive knowledge of technology transitions (government laboratory to government research and development) to support milestone decision and the development of Technology Transition Agreements (TTA) and Cooperative Research and Development Agreement (CRADA). Security Clearance Requirements: Existing ADP III Public Trust clearance level and above or ability to obtain an ADP III Public Trust. *Pursuant to a government contract, this position requires US citizenship status.
