The Commercial Receivable Specialist will handle account management, commercial client relationship development, credit and collections, payment negotiations, and aging analysis and reporting. Job Description: . Manage an assigned portion of an accounts receivable portfolio . Review customers payment history, sales history, and risk exposure . Utilize the dashboard, review account specific aging analysis and review of sales, billing, order and other documents . Achieve aging and cash collection goals on a monthly basis to align efforts with the goals of the company . Review customer specific documents, make collection calls and investigate customer concerns . Drive results and build ongoing working relationships with internal and external customers . Negotiate payment resolutions and determine best plans of action . Partner with the Credit Analysts and Credit Managers . Make daily decisions on reasonable risk exposure related to customer sales and influence how credit limits are set through review of customer history and credit reports Job Requirements: . Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Accounting or Finance . Minimum of 2-5+ years of commercial collections experience . Credit analysis and ability to analyze financial statements is a plus . Strong written and verbal communication skills . Candidate must be comfortable setting targets, organizing data, and initiating a plan to structure daily schedule in order to meet departmental goals . Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: MS Excel, MS Outlook and MS Word . Experience with accounting systems is preferred and SAP experience is a plus . Interested in improving efficiency, open to a continual change environment and has a strong interest in learning new systems and processes .
