We are seeking an experienced Recruiter / Senior Recruiter to reach beyond our traditional pipelines of talent and identify great candidates for digital content positions across all our markets. Reporting to the Manager of Talent Acquisition, the Recruiter will be responsible for full life-cycle recruitment of requisitions in a fast-paced environment. The position can be based at our headquarters in McLean, VA, or in one of our markets. Responsibilities:Source, screen, and recruit multi-platform storytellers, ranging from entry-level through leadershipPartner with our digital content leadership to determine "what great looks like" in each role and assess our talent against that benchmarkIn cooperation with HR Business Partners, grow our internal talent through career development and mobilityBuild an external pipeline of digital content talent, paying particular attention to diversity initiatives and creative sourcing techniquesIdentify leaders in the field, and cultivate relationships with talent through organizations and eventsPartner with universities to identify digital nativesDevelop a structured interview process that assesses talent for desired attributesEmbrace the company's branding strategy in the recruitment lifecycleDeliver a best-in-class candidate experienceMaximize the company's tools, processes, protocols and knowledge to provide a modern, efficient, and compliant hiring processRequirements:Bachelor's degree3-7 years of talent acquisition experience; preferably in the digital, content, or entertainment spaceHigh volume and full life-cycle recruiting experience; must be able to manage a workload of 10+ requisitions at a timeExpertise in sourcing passive talent via online resources, referrals, and outreach; experience with tools like LinkedIn, CRM, and applicant tracking systemsGeneral knowledge of recruitment/hiring laws and practicesGenuine interest in connecting others, uncovering common interests, and matching talent with opportunitiesAbility to quickly adapt to and embrace new technology; desire for continuous improvementExcellent social media knowledge and skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environmentOutstanding communication & organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and desire for continuous learning & improvementStrong customer focus and effective use of consultative approach with clientsKnown for being resourceful, taking initiative, and demonstrating a sense of urgencyAbility to troubleshoot and problem-solve complex recruitment and hiring issues with minimum guidanceAbout TEGNA: TEGNA Inc.
