If interested, please read on and apply.DescriptionThe Payroll Accountant - Construction will be responisible for generall payroll and AP functions that include but are not limite to:Enters hours daily from time-sheets received from field; contacts job site supervisors to correct errors in calculations or phase codes not set-up for payroll.Reviews all time entry weekly comparing to time-sheets and makes any necessary corrections before payroll is finalized and checks are printed.Prepares checks for job distribution.Creates employee folders and updates file logs; files documents.Reviews certified payroll reports for accuracy and submits to state/federal agencies either by mail or manual entry into client or 3rd party system.Completes and submits Verification of Employment requests.Generates W-2s and other related payroll forms.In the absence of the Payroll Manager, leads Payroll Team to ensure that regular payroll processes are completed in an accurate and timely manner.Maintains garnishment log; calculates garnishments; and distributes checks to appropriate agencies as directed by Payroll Manager.Distributes subcontractor tracking log to projects weekly and maintains them by making sure required certified payrolls are requirements for each subcontractor on-site.Communicate via email or phone with corporate staff, subcontractors and clients as needed.Files documents and performs other special projects as directed.ProfileBachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.Construction, development or architecture industry experience preferredPayroll Experience RequiredJob OfferThe Project Accountant - Construction will enjoy multiple benefits including a benefit Base Salary, Bonus, Health-care Coverage, 401K Plan among other benefits.
