To assist with the construction deliverable schedule on one or multiple (possibly simultaneous) projects, as related to all construction disciplines. To assist with effective management of construction, renovation and relocation projects under supervision.Responsibilities:* Ensure project deliverables are met in accordance with customers' expectations, timelines & budget constraints* Develop capital budgets to include estimating, forecasting and adjusting* Ensure construction and repair work accuracy, workmanship and adherence to plans* Manage approvals and permits through project completion and operation* Partner with General Council and Procurement to secure General Contractors, Architects, Engineering firms and other services and hard goods for capital projects* Serves as a liaison between architects, contractors, and related personnel* Summarize bid packages based on cost, quality & availability* Approve services and recommend payment upon completion of project milestones* Full life-cycle project management - Establish and lead project teams - Develop project plan/scope/schedule/cost/communications - Procure and/or manage resources/timelines/deadlines/quality - Risk, Issue and Change management - Ensure successful project implementation - Scope of responsibility* Stay abreast of and ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and industry laws, regulations and guidelines* Identify areas of improvement; determine solutions; implement enhancements/changes to improve operations, standards and results* Perform other duties as assignedQualifications - All required unless otherwise noted:* Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Interior Design, Construction, Construction Management or the equivalent combination of training, education, and experience* Experience in general construction surveying and cost estimating* Experience in leading large projects/initiatives which have business risk and impact* Experience in reviewing and providing recommendations from technical documents* Familiarity with contract language and related intricacies, scope and risk management* Working knowledge of facilities management and/or interior principles and practices* Working knowledge of project lifecycles and management methodologies* Effective organizational, planning and time management skills* Effective skill interpreting schedules, sketches, layouts and blueprints* Effective verbal and written communication skills* Desired - Working knowledge of Navy Federal products, services, programs, policies and proceduresHours:Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-4:30PMEqual Employment OpportunityNavy Federal values, celebrates, and enacts diversity in the workplace.
