Our client, a public Accounting firm in Washington, DC is looking to add a few Tax Managers. Due to the fact that they have some Partners nearing retirement. They are looking for someone to build a team of tax professionals in their rapidly expanding tax department. They do everything from tax work, bookkeeping, payroll as well as auditing. Tax Manager Job Description:Provide consultation to our top clients in regards to complicated tax mattersHelp build client relationships and assist partners with tax servicesProvide direction and recommendations to business for improvementsMentor staff and continue to grow professionally in tax specializationReview returns, make notes and have team make adjustmentsWriting newsletters for the clientsTax Manager Minimum Requirements:CPA is requiredBachelor's in Accounting is required and Masters would be beneficial5+ years of related public accounting experiencePrior management or leadership experience preferredAbility to make decisions and work in a fast paced environmentCompensation and Benefits:Total Compensation will be $85,000-$120,000 plus bonus (potential for more if partnership is offered)Full Health Insurance with Dental and Vision401K Retirement ProgramPotential Partnership Opportunity!To be considered for the tax manager postition, please apply with a resume.
