Our innovative, collaborative and rewarding work environment has earned repeat honors from the Washington Business Journal's Best Places to Work and SmartCEO Corporate Culture awards.Acuity is looking for new talent to add to our growing business development team and is currently hiring an experienced Account Executive to support our growth initiative within the Financial Services government sectors. Responsibilities: The Business Development Account Executive is primarily responsible for leading and managing the demand generation and direct sales on a defined account or territory. This role requires the execution of the entire sales process from business development prospecting and qualifications through contract negotiations. The Business Development Account Executive is also responsible for post-sales support to maximize revenue growth and increase market share. The Account Executive must have relationships and a thorough understanding of the buying and procurement process for The US Department of Treasury, US Department of Commerce, Securities and Exchange Commission, and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. Additional Key Duties and Responsibilities:Identify and qualify new business opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline.Track opportunities in Acuity's electronic tracking system.Meet or exceed annual quota targets as required in support of corporate sales and revenue objectives.Work and develop relationships at all levels including C-level executives of various component agencies to secure and finalize successful sales cycles.Successfully map Acuity's services/solutions to agency demands and pain points.Maintain an in-depth and thorough knowledge of corporate capabilities.Lead multiple complex, customer sales cycles and close them efficiently.Conduct market research.Develop company presentations and present capabilities to prospective customers.Follow US Government procurement practices to meet sales objectives.Actively participate in capture and proposal efforts, working closely with the Capture Director.Maintain a high degree of ethics and professionalism at all times.Other duties may be assigned. Education and Experience:Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area with at least 7 years of hands on Federal solution sales and business development experience. Proven track record in excelling in a quota driven sales environment selling multi-million dollar technical and professional services engagements to the Federal government.Experience with complex sales cycles selling to business and IT executives at both the program and executive level.Proficiency in the use of Salesforce or other similar tool.Thorough understanding of US Government and Department of Defense acquisition processes, along with FAR, DFAR, IDIQs, and GWACs.Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. May lead and direct the work of others.
